The Union Pines Chorus consists of three ensembles:

Vocal Vikings (Beginning/Intermediate)- an unauditioned mixed ensemble

UP Valkyrie (Proficient)- an audition-only treble ensemble

Chamber Singers (Advanced)- an audition-only mixed ensemble

Meet the Director:

Ms. Elizabeth Shaver hails from Tucker, GA and has been teaching at Union Pines since August 2018. Ms. Shaver graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor's in Music Education with a focus on Vocal Music. Alongside teaching the Chorus classes, Ms. Shaver is the music director for the Spring musical and one of the faculty advisers for the Tri-M Music Honors Society. Outside of teaching, Ms. Shaver sings with the Moore County Choral Society and at the Village Chapel in Pinehurst.
