The NAHS program is specifically for high school students, for the purpose of inspiring and recognizing those students who have shown an outstanding ability and scholarship in art. NAHS strives to aid members in working toward the attainment of the highest standards in art areas, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
Requirements: “B” average in all art classes, good citizenship, character, willingness to serve the school & community.
Service credits are required each year.
Dues: $10 for the year, part of which goes to the National Art Education Association
NAHS members can be involved in a variety of activities & events including: Induction ceremony for new members; Sponsoring art shows; visits to galleries, art museums; Volunteering locally and participating in community service projects; Attending or participating in art-related fundraisers; Be an advocate for the art program.
